Martha Kincade Keith Dillard February 22, 1938 – March 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Palmetto Community – Martha Dillard, 81, surrounded by her loving family, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Houston, she was born February 22, 1938, to George Richard Kincade and Nancy Barbara Lackey Kincade. Martha attended schools in Houston, Palmetto and Shannon High School.

For most of her adult life, she was involved in the childcare industry and worked in numerous child and daycare facilities. She also worked at Super Sagless for a number of years. Martha possessed the sweetest soul and her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many as she was lovingly referred to as “mom” and “mamaw”.

A doting grandmother and great-grandmother, Martha’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music, playing cards, road trips and joy riding, and most of all being with her family. Martha’s contagious laughter and outgoing personality will forever be cherished.

She was a member of Sherman Apostolic Tabernacle. Survivors include her three daughters, Shelia White and her husband, Jeff of Pontotoc, Mona Lisa Keith of Pikeville, Tennessee and Dawn Hardin and her husband, Junior of Tupelo; two sons, Troy “Tim” Keith and his wife, Barbara of Palmetto and Billy Dillard, Jr. and his wife, Tonya of Pontotoc; fourteen grandchildren, Krissy Baughman, Timothy Keith, Brandy, Kenny and Jeffery Matt Deloach, Shawn and Katie Keith, Ashley Doss, Johnny Reynolds, Jr., Cassie Keith and Lexie, Leah, Lana and Becca Dillard; and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dillard, Sr.; former husband of twenty-five years, Troy Keith, and their six children, Barbara Carolyn, Betty Jean, Randall Troy, Janice Elaine, Richard Andrew and Judith Ann Keith; and her parents, George and Nancy Kincade.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Services honoring her life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Terry Lee Ethridge officiating.

Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Johnny Reynolds, Jr., Kenny Deloach, Timmy Keith, Junior Hardin, Newt Dyer and David Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Deloach, Donnie Dillard, Johnny Dillard, Robert Dillard, Greg Dillard and Chris Tucker.
