Obituary for Martha Rose Alfaro Martha Rose Alfaro, age 63 of Cherokee, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Faye Crowe officiating.

Burial will follow in Mtn. Springs Cemetery. Martha was a lifelong resident of Cherokee.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Borden; mother, Katherine Ressler (Ralph); and sisters, Barbara Stanfield and Shirley Rabaden. She is survived by her son, David Alfaro; daughters, Lisa Diaz and Jimmy Lou Hamm; brothers, Merle (Pete) Ressler and Jimmy Ressler; special niece, Patricia Hamm; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
