Martha Lucille Rhodes (nee Jeffers) was born January 3rd, 1951 to James Allen Jeffers and Lucille (nee Saurine) Jeffers and passed away March 16th 2019 at the age of 68. Martha, also known as “The Little Train That Could” is survived by her sons Bill Rhodes and James (Charlene Lloyd) Rhodes; adopted son Eric Hutchens; step-grandchildren, Ambrosia Rose Rhodes, Zachary Harris, Tori Harris and Darren Lloyd; brothers James Jeffers, Sam (Linda) Jeffers, Don (Pam) Jeffers, David Jeffers and Joe Jeffers; sisters Geraldine “Gerry” Jeffers and Norma (Earl) Maher. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband, John Rhodes; and a sister-in-law Patty Jeffers.

Martha enjoyed helping with Triple Treat Carnivals, and enjoyed being at home, surrounded by friends and family whom she loved. Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 20th 2019 from 6pm – 8pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen OH 45122, where services will be held on Thursday, March 21st 2019 at 11am Interment: Meyers Cemetery Memorial Contributions in Martha’s name can be made to the family.
