Obituary for Martin L “Marty” Lester Funeral services for Martin L. “Marty” Lester, age 58, of Oxford, will be Wednesday, September 11, 2018, 2:00 PM in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Griffith will be officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chulafinnee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 till 8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Lester passed away on Sunday at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his son, Donnie Lester (Brittany), mother, Sandra Yvonne Lester, grandchildren; Nicholas Smith, Laci Lester, Kati Lester and Logan Lester. Mr. Lester was a lifelong resident of Oxford. Mr. Lester was a very devoted fan of Oxford High School Football and Alabama Football.

He was self employed for many years as a Landscaper. Mr. Lester was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lester, grandparents, Roy and Rural Lester, Mallard and Clara Martin To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Martin L “Marty” Lester please visit our Sympathy Store.
