Marvin D. Roeser, age 73, of Sandusky, died Friday morning, July 6, 2018, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. He was born Oct. 17, 1944, in Sandusky, OH, and attended Margaretta Schools.

He was a 40 year employee of Sandusky Athol (Chrysler Plastics) retiring in 2006, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and hunting and fishing in the Roeser Camp in PA. Marvin is survived by his wife, the former Betty Lou Knoll, to whom he was married for 46 years; daughter Tracy (Jim Boyes) Eck; 5 grandchildren Lauren, Colin, Jacob, Drew, and Trevor; sister Mary Ann (Bernie) Neidler; brother Kenneth (Pam) Roeser; sisters-in-law Betty and Sandy Roeser; brother-in-law Ronald Dority; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Elsie (Nagel) Roeser; 2 grandchildren Alexis and Madison; 3 brothers Wayne, John, and Donald Roeser; and sister Donna Dority. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Weds. , July 11, 2018.

in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 12. The Rev. Philip Gardner will officiate and burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
