Mary Adelaide (Hartman) Lattner, 94, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Evansville Protestant Home in Evansville. Mary Adelaide was born on June 8, 1924 to the late Eleanor and Adolf Hartman in Evansville, Indiana. She married John W. Lattner on June 21, 1952 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2005.

Mary and John showed heartfelt compassion through out their lives by helping others. Mary Adelaide is survived by one brother, Robert F. Hartman; children, Joan Chittenden (Mike), John Lattner (Carol), Michael Lattner (Sheila), Ann Folz (Greg), Mary Gallagher (Shawn), Dan Lattner, Patrick Lattner (Susan), Mark Lattner, and Joseph Lattner (Kim). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Mary Adelaide was preceded in death by her husband, by her parents; by her brother, Daniel G. Hartman; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Leich; and by her daughter-in-law, Tammi Lattner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 3010 E. Chandler Ave. , Evansville, IN 47714 with Father Alex Zenthoefer celebrating.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until Mass time at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ The King Catholic Church.
