Mary Ann Brown, age 75, died May 28, 2018 in St. George, Utah. She was born January 4, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to James Raymond and Doris Wilson Stark. She married Larry Melvin Rounds on August 28, 1964 in Roy, Utah.

They had two daughters: Diane and Lori Rounds. They later divorced and she married Jeffrey Sparks Brown on July 3, 1974 in Elko, Nevada. She gained another daughter Neely and a son Carl Brown.

Mary was raised in Ogden, Utah with her three siblings Ray, Carol, and Barbara. She was a member of the LDS church and served as a ward missionary and ministering sister. She worked at St. Benedicts Hospital as a housekeeper until she retired.

She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and playing Yatzee and Bunco with her family and friends. She was able to travel to many interesting places. She lived a life dedicated to helping and serving others.

Most of all she loved spending time with her family and taking care of them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Brown, and sisters, Carol Stark, Barbara Hall, and Joann Stark. Survived by her children: Diane (Todd) Curtis Washington, UT; Lori Cox Layton, UT; Neely Avery, Aliso Viejo, CA; Carl (Kara) Brown Logan, UT; grandchildren: Matthew, Wesley, Nathan, Kyle, Colton, Alayna, Ethan, Tai, Rowan, Nicholas, Max and Lakota, and great-granddaughter: Reva.

Funeral Services will be Friday June 1, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road Layton, Utah 84041. Friends may visit family Friday from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. at the mortuary, Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No.
