Wayne DeMont Colvin July 2, 1934 ~ May 18, 2018 Wayne DeMont Colvin, 83, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018. He was born on July 2, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Arlie and Eva Herrick Colvin. Wayne was raised in Ogden and has lived in Roy for the last 50 years.

He married Arlene Hansen on March 12, 1966 and she passed away on March 6, 2016. Wayne worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years. He loved gardening, woodworking, and spending time with the love of his life Arlene.

He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Wayne is survived by his sons, Wes (Natalie) Colvin, Washington Terrace; Steve (Denise) Colvin, Jamestown, MO; Craig Jessop, Ogden; Chris (Vanessa) Jessop, Ogden; daughters, Robin (Robert) Brennan, Roy; and Pam (Adam) Gardiner, Honeyville; son-in-law, Gale Webb, Roy; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Louise Olsen, Beverly Child and Jerry Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; parents, son, Edward; daughter, Cindy Webb; and sister, Arlene.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
