TeriDawn Lindsay Mounteer TeriDawn Lindsay Mounteer, 60, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 in her home peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Teri, daughter of Steve and Patricia Lindsay, was born October 5, 1957 in Ogden, Utah. Teri spent her early years in Ogden and moved to Kaysville at the age of 12.

Teri graduated from Davis High School in 1976 and then attended the University of Utah. Teri married her high school sweetheart Boyd Scott Mounteer on March 18, 1977 in Kaysville. Teri and Scott were sealed in the Bountiful LDS Temple September 20, 2008, with her family being sealed to her shortly thereafter.

Teri spent 20 years as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines and had a special bond and love for her flight attendant family. She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved serving in the Young Women’s organization. Teri had a very strong testimony of the gospel and her eternal family.

She was an avid volleyball player and loved spending time skiing. Teri was very talented and had such a creative mind and passion for getting hands on with her arts and crafts. Surviving are her husband Boyd Scott Mounteer, Kaysville; Cody Scott (Laura), Cade L. (Brooke), daughter, Lindsay (Kohl) Perkins, Layton; seven grandchildren, Summer Dawn, Ty, Aspen, Hayden, Holden, Crue, Hyatt, and her parents, Steve and Patricia Lindsay.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Lola Mounteer. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Fairfield Ward, 1085 N. 50 E., Kaysville. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No.

Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for her at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, specifically, Dr. Warner, Stephanie, Dr. Kannapel, Rachel, Karen, Dr. Soisson, the Nurses of Fast Track, and CNS Hospice.
