Mary Ann McDonald Cox, age 61 of Hudson, KY died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her residence. She was born in El Paso, Texas on August 31, 1957, the daughter of the late John Perry and Marion Claire Pimental McDonald. Mary Ann was a veteran of the United States Army and a Coding Compliance Officer.

She loved her family, her native culture and dance and horseback riding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Joshua Cox and brothers John and Paul McDonald. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Don Cox of Hudson, KY 13 children: Marguerite Christenson, Paula (John) Barlow and Bobby Ponte of Utah, Tony Ponte and Donald Cox, Jr. of Louisville, KY, Amanda (Steve) LaFever of Mt.

Washington, KY, Alyssa Cox of Bokenito, OH, Alexandra Cox of Houston, TX, Jeremiah, Aubreigh and Cheyenne Cox of Hudson, KY, Brian Cox of Anchorage, Alaska and Ashleigh Ponte of Denver, CO 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren 1 brother – Michael McDonald of Flower Mound, Texas 2 sisters – Darlene Pharris of Texas and Regina Laughing (Hawk) of Butler County, KY Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 4-8 PM and Wednesday after 8 AM.
