Mary Ann Prickett August 27, 1932 – January 18, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card PRICKETT Mary Ann passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Friday Jan. 18, after 86 years of a rewarding life. She is treasured by all who knew her for her genuine, loving and giving nature.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, James Harold Prickett, her beloved children, Julia Ellen Prickett, Lori Ann Goodlander, Amy Marie (Dan) Weis and David James (Sebastian) Prickett. Grandmother of Edward Goodlander, Bryan (Amanda) Norton) Weis and Amanda Weis. Mary was born on August 27, 1932 to Lucille (Schnicke) and Guy Matz.

She worked in a Doctor’s office prior to her marriage in 1955. During the Vietnam War Mary donated her time as a Volunteer Aid at the military Valley Forge General Hospital. Mary excelled in homemaking, known for gourmet meals and her baking.

Several of her recipes were printed in local papers. Mary had an eye for and was very knowledgeable about antiques. Whether family heirlooms or Mary’s finds, they were beautifully featured throughout her well appointed home.

Mary was a blessing to her family and all who knew her. She will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation Wednesday Jan.
