OBITUARY Mary Ann West October 3, 1925 – October 23, 2018 Mary Ann West, 93, lifelong resident of Fulton, Missouri passed away on October 23, 2018 at Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton.

The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mary Ann was born on October 3, 1925 in Fulton to the late Claude and Ruby Sheets West. She was a graduate of Fulton High School and then worked at the shoe factory for six years before working thirty two years at the Missouri School for the Deaf until her retirement.

Mary Ann loved playing and following sports. She was the pitcher for the Fulton girls’ softball team and she was a very good bowler. She also enjoyed fishing, playing pool at the Senior Center and she was an avid follower of the St. Louis Cardinals.

She is survived and dearly loved by her brothers, Gene (Helen) West of Fulton and Donald Lee (Virginia) West of North Carolina; fourteen nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was also preceded in death by one brother, Dean Edward West and one sister, Jewell May Kaufman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
