Mary C. Holliday, age 78, of Frankton, passed away on Saturday after a brief illness, December 22, 2018 at Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on August 29, 1940, in Anderson to the late Paul and Mildred (Anthony) Biddle. On February 2, 1957 she married the love of her life Philip Holliday who passed away on March 14, 2014.

Mary enjoyed life being a homemaker and raising her family. She was always doing something for her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and especially during the Christmas season.

Mary is survived by her loving family of four sons, Philip (Sheri) Holliday, Jr. of Daleville, Larondo (Hilda) Holliday of KY, Theren (Tracy) Holliday of Noblesville and Glenden (Belinda) Holliday of Anderson, one daughter, Carmel Holliday of Frankton, six grandchildren; Danielle (Travis) Quakenbush, Cesilie, Austin & wife Emily, Allison, Blaise and Luke Jay Holliday, four great grandchildren; Levi & Carly Quakenbush and Evelyn & Able Jay Holliday, a sister, Joyce Claborne of Anderson and several nieces & nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Paul & Mildred Biddle, husband Philip Holliday, two brothers, Donald & Paul Biddle, and two sisters, Dorothy Goss and Nancy Deweese. Funeral service celebrating Mary’s life will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton, with Pastor Nick Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson. Visitation will be Thursday, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Riley’s Children Hospital.
