Mary C. Daub, 70, Grampian, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. Born December 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Williard and Donna (Irwin) Wiley. She was married to Samuel Daub.

He preceded her in death in 2003. Mary graduated from Curwensville High School and later from IUP Culinary School in Punxsutawney in 1992. She was employed by Kent’s Sportswear and for PCN Food Service as a cook.

Mary was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for Veterans in Grampian,… Read More » REACT in Punxsutawney, and the Greenville Church of the Brethren. She volunteered at the Grampian-Bloom Fire Department, delivered Meals on Wheels, and served as the Mayor of Grampian. Mary loved her dogs.

Mary is survived by three children, Cathy (Harold) Mahlon, Chestnut Grove, Chris (Donna) Daub, Curwensville, and Barbara (D.J.) Kline, Grampian; her companion, Frank Nowak, Chestnut Grove; five grandchildren, David, Heidi, Aaron, Kayla, and Ashley, and two great-grandchildren, Aden and Tazzlynn. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Sammy Daub. Family and friends will be received Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral chapel with Rev.

Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in Greenville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc., 1312 Chestnut Ave.
