Obituary for Mary Carolyn Baty Mary Carolyn Baty, age 70, of Laurel, passed on December 9, 2018. Mrs. Baty was born on December 30, 1947 in Alabama and was a homemaker. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, cross word puzzles, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her mother; sister, Betty Sue Kirkland; and triplet sons, Brandon, Braxton, and Brock. She is survived by her sons, Charles Baty of Laurel, Sherman Baty (Kelly) of CT, and Shane Baty of Hattiesburg; daughter, Barbara Mason (Tracy) of Heidelberg; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Mill Creek Cemetery in Jones County.
