Mary Alice (Corey) Dawson of Ayden passed away on March 17, 2019. Mary was preceded in death by her parents John and Katie Corey, her husband Forrest Dawson and her son Steve Dawson, 2 brothers Edward Corey and Walter J Corey as well as two sisters Louise Curry and Minnie Westbrook. She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Holmes and her husband Rick of Massachusetts and her sister Barbara (Corey) Nobles of Grifton.

Her grandchildren are Nancy Parris & Stephanie Dawson of Texas and Corey Dunn of Massachusetts. Mary has 4 great grandchildren–Steven, Cole and Avery of Texas and Levi of Massachusetts. Mary was blessed with nieces and nephews from both sides of her family.
