Mary Dean Brown Marietta, GA – Funeral service for Mary Dean Brown, 88, will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Oak Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Goodwater, AL.

Ms. Brown died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Wellstar Community Hospice Center in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her dad, Aubry Brown, mother, Lena Brown, step brother, Bunkie Brown, sister, Aubry Mae Vickers, and nephew, Dale Vickers. She was in the Army for 3 years and with the reserves for an additional 2 years.

She enjoyed fishing and thought of her nieces and nephews as her own. She is survived by her sister, Hicksie Vickers; two step sisters, Vickie Fowler, Gail Moore; and 11 nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Oak Chapel Baptist Church in Goodwater, AL.

Pallbearers will be Eric Vickers, Shane Lumpkin, Brad Nelson, Tyler Smith, Travis Smith, and Michael Mask. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Robinson and Eric Robinson. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.
