Mary Ellen Crump, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Monday, October 29, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 62. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, November 2, 2018 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 10AM to 10:45AM at the funeral home. Ms. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Vallie Yarbrough Crump; a son, Jackie Allen Davis; two brothers, Johnny and Howard Burkett; three sisters, Hepsie Josephine Burgess, Brenda Joyce Beck, and Glenda Owens Dean. She is survived by one son, Ernie Davis; two daughters, Charlene Davis (LeaAnne Donovan) and Danielle Weeks (David Montgomery); one sister, Charlotte Boyette (James); four grandchildren, Courtney Davis, Devin Montgomery, Chris and Axl Reid; a special niece, Becky Garry; and many other nieces and nephews.
