Mary Evelyn Bailey Flynn, age 93, a lifelong New Castle resident, passed away Wednesday April 18, 2018. She was born January 31, 1925 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Lewis and Nina Bailey Flynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Flynn, a daughter Brenda Snell, a sister, Norma Jean Anderson and two brothers, Bob and Jack Bailey .

She love family activities, especially… Read More » sharing time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels and will be remembered for decorating her home for the holidays and hosting her family and friends for special meals.

For many years she would bake hundreds of dozens of delicious cookies to share at Christmastime with her family and friends. Left to cherish her loving memory include: two sons, Ronald (Marta) Flynn, Muncie, and Bob (Judy) Flynn, Florida, grandchildren, Megan (John) Coffin, Indianapolis, Tristen (Andrea) Snell, Muncie, Tanner (Tonya) Snell, New Castle, Aimee (Companion Kelli Adams) Plainfield, Brook (Amy) Flynn, Lewisville, also several great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
