Obituary for Reid H. Brenan Reid H. Brenan, 86, of Knightstown passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rushville. He was born July 8, 1931 in Knightstown to the late Paul and Kathleen (Pearson) McCaslin. Reid is a graduate of Knightstown High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He loved photography and volunteering at the Hoosier Gym and Knightstown Historic Museum where he loved meeting the visitors. For the many years, Reid also enjoyed spending the winter months in Texas. He is survived by his children, Michael (Julie) Brenan of Columbia, South Carolina, Lorri (Rich) Justice of Hamilton, Ohio, Janine (David) Mattix and Dana (Tom) True both of Knightstown; 16 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by a brother, Bayard Brenan. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by contingents from the U.S. Air Force and the Knightstown American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hoosier Gym or Knightstown Historic Museum.
