Virginia Rose Jackson Morris 90, a long time New Castle resident, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 29, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 16, 1927 in Bonne Terre, Missouri the daughter of James Jewel and Catherine Ethel Thomas Jackson.

She loved family activities, cooking, collecting donkey’s, dancing and enjoyed animals, especially horses. Survivors include her children: Dalene Norris and her husband, Don of New Castle; Rob Bundy and his… Read More » wife, Kathy of New Castle; Tim Bundy and his wife, Timmy of Delphi and Brad Bundy and his wife, Jenny of New Castle; seven grandchildren: Heather Norris, Carmen Norris, Tyler Norris (Layla), Lance Bundy (Katie), Kirby Bundy (Meg), Holly McCoy (Jeremiah Norris) and Kaycie Laughner (Shawn); nine great grandchildren: Shayle Major (Eliott), Zach Miller, Emma Bundy, Copeland Bundy, Veda Bundy, Lane McCoy (Haleigh), Kynsey McCoy (Blake Milner), Gaven Laughner and Ayden Laughner; one great great grandson Corbin McCoy; a brother, James Roy Jackson and his wife, Cindy and a sister, Cartha Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine Jackson; brothers: Thomas Jackson and James Jewel Jackson; sister Barbara Henderson and a grandson, Zachery Ryan Bundy.

Family and friends may call from 1 PM to 3 PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Davis, officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
