Obituary for Matthew Hunt Matthew Hunt, 46, of New Castle passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born March 7, 1972 in New Castle to Russell Hunt, Sr. and the late Susan (Merritt) Rollins. He graduated from Tri High School in 1991.

Matthew worked as a carpet layer and carpenter throughout his life. He is survived by his father, Russell (Melanie) Hunt, Sr. of Spiceland; brothers, Russell Hunt, Jr. of Dublin, Bradley (Shy) Fox of Greenfield, Charlie (April) Hunt of Spiceland and Courtland Harris of Cloverdale; several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Marie and Earl Merritt and Nancy and Russell V. Hunt and brother, Brian R. Fox.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Chaplin Bradley Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service.
