Obituary for Carolyn Drysdale Carolyn Drysdale, 92, of Kennard, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1925 in Henry County a daughter of Robert and Grace (Lewis) Kern. Carolyn was a 1944 graduate of Kennard High School.

She was a very talented seamstress and even was a tailor. She was a member of Willing Workers Home Ec Club in Kennard. Carolyn loved antiques, loved to dance and enjoyed music from the 1940’s.

She also loved to cook and was a member of Kennard Brotherhood and Sisterhood. She is survived by five children, Cindy (Manlove) Sweigart of New Castle, Jeff Drysdale (Jim Courtney) of Atlanta, GA, Becky Drysdale of Kennard, Dan (Terri) Drysdale of Kennard and Mary Beth (Gary) Pribble of Kennard; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C.

Drysdale; infant daughter, Rebecca Drysdale; grandson, Jobe Drysdale; and a sister, Lavaughn Ray. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
