Frederick Keith Butler, 72, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Ball Hospital in Muncie. He was born April 14, 1946 in Albany, KY to Sam and Nellie (Pittman) Butler. He retired from Chrysler in New Castle in 2000 after 33 years.

Keith was an avid golfer and had his own game at Memorial Park for many years. Keith’s philosophy, if the pins are up, we are playing! He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis (Vaughn) Butler.

Brothers Gary (Candi) Butler of Phoenix AZ and Jimmie (Debbie) Butler of New Castle. Sister Deborah Butler of New Castle; a sister in law Karen Hall Butler, several nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donnie Butler of New Castle.

Services will be at 12:00 on Friday, July 27th at Macer-Hall in New Castle. Burial services will immediately follow at South Mound in New Castle. Visitation will be from 3p-8p on Thursday, July 26,2018 and from 11:00 AM until Friday, July 27,, 2018 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Keith’s name to St Jude Children’s Hospital. You may express condolences or share a memory of Keith at www. macerhall.com.
