Obituary for Robert E. “Bob” Lefforge Robert E. “Bob” Lefforge, 86, of Spiceland passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at his home. He was born May 15, 1932 in Henry County to the late Elmer and Teresa (Sox) Lefforge. He served 8 year in the U.S. Air Force and is a Korean War Veteran.

Bob retired from Chrysler in 1997 after 32 years of service. He is a member of the Greensboro Lodge and the Knightstown American Legion. Bob enjoyed bass fishing, mushroom hunting, woodworking and he especially loved spending time at family cookouts.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Annabelle “Ann” (Lockridge) Lefforge of Spiceland; children, Robert “Robbie” E. (Patty) Lefforge, Jr. of Lewisville and Cheryl Lefforge (fiancé Mark Hopkins) of New Castle; grandchildren, Elijah (Leeann) Little of Carthage, Justin (Rhonda) Lefforge of Mays, Dana Lefforge of Carthage, Zackery Little of Spiceland; 2 step-grandchildren, Brian and Billy Stanley of Spiceland; 8 great grandchildren; nephew, Jeff Lefforge of Knightstown and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, James “Jim” Lefforge and a niece, Donna Sue. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.

Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery with Military rites being provided by the Knightstown American Legion and U.S. Air Force. Visitation will be from 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the funeral home with Masonic Service at 4:30 p.m. You may express condolences or share a memory of Bob at www. hinsey-brown.com.
