A Celebration of Life service for Mary Frances “Polly” Russell, age 90 of Cunningham, will be Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow beside her husband at Louise UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.

Polly passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. She was born on March 11, 1928, in Montgomery County, TN to John and Annie Wallace Parker. Polly was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ.

She retired after 24 years at Acme Boot Company. After retirement she enjoyed taking care of her home and family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John Russell and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Kim) Russell and Vickie (Jerry) Petty, grandchildren; Lisa Black Barrett, Richard Russell, Jonathan McClanahan, Ashley McClanahan, and Gage Sherlock, step grandchildren; Annmarie Wilkins, Dalton Petty, and Grace Petty, as well as 7 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.
