A funeral service for Eugene Alfonso Bompers Jr., age 64 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Mason officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Eugene passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville.

He was born on June 18, 1954 in the Bronx to Eugene and Edna Bompers. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Eugene Bompers III, as well as the mother of his children, Gwendolyn Bompers. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Hilliard; son, Malik Williams; grandchildren, Aliayah Bompers, Mariah Bompers, Jamison Williams-Bompers, Raeshon Bompers, Haylee Bompers, and Joshua Williams; great-granddaughter, Kenzleigh Lloyd; his sister, Lorraine Alexander; niece, Alicia Chaney; great niece and nephew, Amber Chaney and Austin Chaney; his close family members, Dewayne Donaldson, Rhonda Bompers, Sandra Pace, Aicia Mecardo, Mary Collins, and Cleveland Rivers; and a host of close family friends and associations, too many to be named.

Eugene was also a Free and Accepted Mason and past Post Commander of the American Legion Post 143. Honorary Pall Bearers will include: Barry Curtis, Dewayne Donaldson, Malik Williams, Calvin Lawrence, Sr., Ben Benton, and Cleveland Rivers. Please visit Eugene’s guestbook at www.
