OBITUARY Mary G. Akins September 26, 1930 – September 20, 2018 Mary G. Akins, 87, passed away September 20, 2018. Visitation will be from 10-11AM Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11AM.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society or to the Juvenile Diabetes Assoc.

Mary was born in Kansas City, MO and had lived in this area most of her life. She worked as an accounting clerk for Standard Oil Company for 26 years. She then went to work for Wald and Company for 10 years before retiring.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Linda Cello (Mark), Sherry Gilgus (Joe) and Lesia Akins; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
