Obituary for Mary Gloria Stewart Mary G. Stewart (nee Vallone) Age 91, of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Braidwood, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her home with her son Ross and dear friend Rose Petty in attendance. Born April 20, 1927 in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Francis and Rosa (nee Bongiovanni) Vallone. Surviving are her sons, Joseph Stewart of Big Sandy, TN and Ross Stewart of Plainfield, IL; and dear friend Rose Petty of New Lenox, IL.

Also many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and her 2 beloved pet dogs, Bobby and Eve. Preceding her in death was her husband, Russell R. Stewart; sisters, Pasqua Esta (Frank) Johnson, Francis (Robert) Carver, and Rose (Lawrence) DeLong; and brothers, Vincent, Anthony, and Lewis Vallone. As per Mary’s wishes, her remains were cremated with no visitation or services.

Her ashes will be spread upon water as she wished. A memorial service will be in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made by the donor’s choice.
