OBITUARY Mary Irvine December 21, 1928 – November 30, 2018 Mary L. Irvine, 89, of West Lafayette, passed away on November 30, 2018. Mary was born at home in West Lafayette on December 21, 1928 to the late Clarence and Clara (Cross) Dickerson. She graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1948.

She worked at J.J. Newberry on Main St. in Coshocton for many years and also at a bakery on 6th St. in Coshocton for a few years and went on to later work as a home health aide. On February 14, 1991, Mary married her husband of 28 years, E. Jack Irvine, who survives. Mary loved to travel and she loved her jewelry collection.

Along with her husband, Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Ricky Stewart and James Stewart of Columbus, and her nephew, J. Bud (Marilyn) Halada. Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Dickerson, her son, Gary Stewart, and her nephew, Lee Dickerson. Funeral services will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Carl Cutlip officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
