Mrs. Mary Jane Upton, 56, of Taylorville, IL passed away peacefully from this life at 5:10 A.M. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1962 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Calvin and Mary (Hancock) Hendricks. Mary Jane graduated from Taylorville High School.

She later married Morris L. Upton Jr., in Taylorville September 1, 1997. Mrs. Upton attended the Davis Memorial Christian Church, in Taylorville. She enjoyed: writing to pen-pals, doing cross word and word search puzzles, making paper dolls and Mary especially loved her puppies and kitties.

Surviving are her husband Morris Upton, her mother Mary Hendricks, 2 sisters Shelly Spinnie and Marcia Jean Hendricks-Collins, and a brother Charles Hendricks all of Taylorville, IL. along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Heather Nicole Upton September 24, 2000.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Bethany Cemetery, rural Edinburg, IL. Rev. Tiney Walker will officiate.

Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting her family with arrangements.
