Mary Jane McKee of Avenel, New Jersey October 19, 1933 – February 2, 2019 Mary Jane Donnelly McKee passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Care One at The Highlands Nursing Center in Edison. She was 85 years old. Born in Staten Island, NY, she resided there before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township 60 years ago.

Mrs. McKee was employed as Sales Clerk for Sterns and Macy’s Department Stores in Woodbridge for 35 years retiring 9 years ago. . She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Avenel where she served as an Elder, Deacon and Trustee.

Mrs. McKee was predeceased by her husband of 61 years James B. McKee who passed away in 2015; a son, Ronald, who passed away in 2012; her brothers John, Ernest, Michael, Edward, Warren, Thomas, and David Donnelly. Surviving are a daughter, June Geiger; a son, James Bruce McKee, Jr., of Avenel; a brother Bernard Donnelly of StatenIsland; a daughter in law, Paula McKee, of Palm Harbor, FL; a son-in-law Charles Geiger of Colonia; grandchildren, Eric and Ian McKee, Kelly Lynn Holden, Ashlee Ann Capo, Mathew Brian McKee, Gregory Ryan Geiger and Kaitlin Holly Geiger; and seven great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah, Anthony, Veronica Rose, Jase, Connor, and Tyler. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Avenel.

Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Avenel, 621 East Woodbridge Avenue, Avenel, NJ 07001.
