Mary Jane V. Miller, age 97, of McKeesport, died February 9, 2019, at The Grove of Irwin. Born July 21, 1921, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Diebert) Harten and the wife of the late Dean F. Miller. Mary Jane worked at G.C. Murphy Co., until they closed and then Dot’s Family Restaurant well into her 80’s.

She was a member of AARP, Community Life of McKeesport and Steel View Manor Bingo. She was always very social and enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Mary Jane will always be remembered for her wonderful smile.

She is survived by her children, Nelda, Ruth, Deanna, Mary Dean and Robert; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and brother, James. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at Noon, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
