Mary Jayne (Sears) Hunley, 96, of Auburn, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at Memorial Hospice at Heritage, Springfield. She was born July 22, 1922, the daughter of William and Katherine Brown Sears.

She married Paul R. Hunley in 1940 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1992, after 52 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by five siblings.

She is survived by her children, Kay Titchenal of Chatham, Tom (Lynn) Hunley of Auburn and Judy Ackerman of Waverly; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5pm til 7pm, Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at Cornerstone Community Church, 231 W. Van Buren, Auburn.

Services will be at 10am, Thursday at the church with Nic Cook officiating. Private family burial will be held at Auburn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Community Church or charity of your choice.
