Mary “Jewel” Holcombe, age 93, of Douglasville passed away on Wednesday, January 02, 2019. Jesus called and Jewel answered. She was born in Griffin, Georgia on April 23, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles Walter Crenshaw and the late Lillue Jarrell Crenshaw.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Winston, a place she loved. For the last two years, Jewel has resided at Augusta Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care.
