Mary L. Martin 73 of Ashville, passed away on Friday, Dec. 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born on May 6, 1945 in Ashville to the late Jesse E. and Mable (Coone) Donaldson.

Mary had retired from Eddie Bauer Warehouse in Groveport after 14 years. She loved to work in her yard and she had volunteered for the Pickaway Co. React for a number of years. Preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Keith, and Raymond; sister Deanie Walter.

She is survived by the love of her life after 55 years, Carl D. Martin; children, Carla (Bill) Teets of Laurelville, Robin (Richard) Teets of Ashville, and Dino (Davina) Martin of Ashville; grandchildren, Devin, Kevin, Brooklyne, and Dillon; great grandchildren, Izeyah, Alexia, and Brantley; sisters, Mildred Crosby, Thelma Ferguson, and Loretta (Jim) Knapt; brothers, James Donaldson, Donnie Donaldson, and Arthur (Sue) Donaldson; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wed. from 5-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with a Service on Thurs.

Dec. 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nick Scarberry officiating.

Interment will follow in Harrison Township, So. Bloomfield. Family request in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home for expenses.
