OBITUARY Mary Leona Harris October 23, 1927 – October 18, 2018 Mary L. Harris passed away on October 18, 2018. Mary passed peacefully in her home of fifty eight years surrounded by the photos and mementos of her many loved ones. Viewing and Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, October 29, 2018.

Boice Funeral Home is located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612. Services will be held Graveside at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Clovis Cemetery is located at 305 N. Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.

Pastor Nic Pope of Sequoia Church in Fresno will be officiating. Mary was born October 23, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a young child she moved to Tranquility, California.

Mary was married to William Harris on October 11, 1945. In 1959 Bill and Mary moved into the house in Clovis. It was Mary that transformed this house into the family home.

Her hospitality and home cooking were the special ingredients she used to gather her entire family during the holidays. No one would willingly miss the chance to enjoy a bowl of her chicken and dumplings. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Bill Harris and nine brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by her daughter Cathy Yraceburu, sons: Bill, Tom, Gary, Ed and Ron Harris. She is also survived by her brother Raymond Wright. Mary is also survived by her many grandchildren: Karin Robertson, Sarah Winn, Jessica Harris, Desire Kearns, Susie Burden, Justin Harris, Blair Harris, Jon Harris, Robert Harris, Amber McCutchen, Michael Harris, Zachary Harris, and her growing list of great-grandchildren.

Mary loved and enjoyed each and every one of her grandkids. Her patience seemed endless and her pride in their accomplishments were discussed with family, neighbors, and friends. Mary’s family will live on to be a testament of her devotion.

Pallbearers will be: Justin Harris, Jon Harris, Robert Harris, Michael Harris ad Zachary Harris. Honorary Alternates: Karin Roberson, Jessica Harris, Susie Burden and Amber McCutchen. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
