Mary Lorraine Sharkey passed away Wednesday January 9,2019 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was born in Bayonne and resided in Colonia for 57 years. She was a secretary for JFK Medical Center in Edison for 20 years retiring in 1985.

She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius Sharkey, her son Cornelius lll, her brother Raymond Thompson, her sister Joan Fedors and her son in law William Perez. Surviving are her children James Sharkey and his wife Nancy, Kathleen Pranio and her husband Dennis, Susan Perez , Jane Papke , Owen Sharkey and his wife Cheryl also 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation Friday January 11, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison.

Blessing Saturday January 12, 2019 11:00am at the funeral home followed by interment at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
