Salvatore Finocchiaro, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Care One @ the Highlands, Edison surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bronte, Italy and resided in Linden before moving to Colonia in 2014. He was the owner of Du Rite Sandblasting Company in Linden for 10 years.

He then owned Ann’s Diner in Elizabeth for 4 years retiring in 1987. Salvatore was predeceased by his brother Giuseppe Finocchiaro. Surviving are his wife of 66 years Maria Minio, his children Carmen Finocchiaro and his wife Rose, Joseph Finocchiaro and his wife Margaret, Maria Scalisi and her husband Anthony, Josephine Papa and her husband Robert, Venerie Aleixo and her husband Amor also 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 4PM to 8PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Service Wednesday January 9,2019 8:30AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30AM Mass St at John Vianney Church, Colonia. Entombment at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
