Richard G. Wenskoski, Jr., passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019 at home. He was born in Staten Island and resided in Edison before moving to Stewartsville. Richard was a police officer for Edison Township for 18 years before retiring in 1987 after retirement he worked for Gourmet Dining Service in Madison.

He was a U. S Army veteran and served in the 101st Airborne Division from 1966-1968 during Vietnam War. He belonged to the Bunting Hunting Club and was a past member of PBA local 105. Richard was predeceased by his parents Richard and Helen Wenskoski, and his son Joseph Wenskoski.

Surviving are his sons Richard G. Wenskoski III and his wife Julie, Derek Wenskoski and Vincent Wenskoski and his wife Maryann, his daughter Christina Wenskoski, 9 grandchildren, his brother David and his wife Debbie, his sisters Geraldine Hanson and her husband Raymond, Helene Jackson, and Donna Wenskoski also his daughter-in-law Tracey Wenskoski. Visitation Tuesday February 5, 2019 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral service Wednesday February 6, 2019 9:00 am at the Funeral Home, followed by a 10:00am Mass at St. Helena RC Church, Edison.

Cremation will be private.
