Mary Lou Hale, 85, of Springfield passed away Thursday, December 28, 2018 in Oakwood Village following a brief illness. She was born August 2, 1933 in Pike County, OH the daughter of Swanson H., Sr. and Bernice (Allison) Mounts. Mary Lou was a 1951 graduate of Springfield High School and was a member of Central Christian Church.

She is survived by two sons Steven (Deborah) Hale of Danville, IN and Tom Hale of Springfield; two grandchildren Nathan and Aubrey Hale of Springfield; a daughter-in-law Tammy (Andy) Irick; brother Andy Mounts; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ron Hale in 2013; and a brother Swanson Mounts, Jr. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
