Mary Lou Gish, 63, of Lincoln, passed into the arms of Jesus at 9:28 a.m. from her home. She was born September 28, 1955 in Kokomo to Clyde Weitzel and Marilyn (Wyant) Trinoskey. She married Eddie Gish August 28, 1977 in Lincoln and he survives.

Mary Lou was a domestic engineer, as she would say with a smile. She enjoyed working in her flowers; crochet, growing tomatoes, spoiling her grandkids and taking vacations. Surviving family include her husband, Eddie Gish of Lincoln; her children, Joshua (April) Gish, Carmel, IN; Amanda (Adam) Kirkpatrick, Walton, IN; and step son, Charles Robert Gish.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Elijah Kirkpatrick, Breanna Gish, Alexander McQuistion, Olivia Gish, Norah Gish, Emmerson McQuistion, Georgia Gish and August McQuistion; brother, Rick Weitzel, Bringhurst and sister, Theresa Weitzel, Bringhurst, IN. Also surviving is a very special neice Mary Beth (Austin) McQuistion who she raised in Lincoln and nephews, Eugene, Jeremy, Chris and Matthew Weitzel and all of her extended family of Lincoln, Indiana. A celebration of Mary Lou’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31st at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with a special friend Stella Darland sharing for the services.

Burial will follow at Musselman Cemetery in Camden, IN. Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30that Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent Cancer Center in Mary Lou’s honor.
