SANDERS, Mary Margaret, age 94, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Ashland City, Tennessee. Mary Margaret was born in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, on October 2, 1924, to the late Leonard and Mamie Basford Stack. Mary Margaret was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church and she worked and retired from the Cheatham County Board of Education as a secretary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Lewis Sanders; son, Bobby Sanders; brothers, Wayne and James Thomas Stack; and grandson, Philip Sanders. She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Cynthia) Sanders and Kenneth Sanders; daughter, Sandy (Jason) Cannon; brother, Bailey Stack; sister, Joanne Hawkins; grandchildren, Bob Sanders, Dale (Emily) Sanders, Jereme (Tara) Sanders, Lily (Danny) Cannon Coradazzi, Helen Cannon, and Jack Cannon; great-grandchildren, Westley Sanders, Maddie Sanders, Derek Sanders, Jane August Coradazzi, and Mollie Sanders; and great-great-grandchild, Cora Rose Sanders. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 11, 2019, 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Shiloh Hackett officiating.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 10, 2019 from 3pm to 7pm and Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11 am until the funeral hour of 2pm. Burial will follow in the EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, TN. Pallbearers will be Bob Sanders, Dale Sanders, Jereme Sanders, Westley Sanders, Derek Sanders, and Jack Cannon.
