Obituary for Mary “May” Shorthouse Mary “May” Shorthouse (Nee Paul), age 88, passed away on October 27, 2018. May was born in Glasgow, Scotland and came to the United States in 1953. She lived several places before returning to her home in Michigan in 1990.

Beloved wife of the late Alexander. Loving mother of Elaine (George) Ghanam and Alan (Leslie) Shorthouse. Proud grandmother of Kelsi (Wes), Eryn (Kyle), Darren and Colin.

Great grandmother of Stevie, Jameson and Boston. Dear twin sister of the late Agnes “Nan” Grabowski. May loved spending time with her Red Hat friends, the Dodge Park group and her church Family at New Life Presbyterian Church.

Visitation will take place at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica, Sunday, Nov 4th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.
