Obituary for Mary Neff Willard Mary Neff Willard, 97, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at White Oak Estates. Born May 13, 1921 in Pavilion, NY, she was the daughter of the late Byron Drake and Bernice Eva Cooper Neff and the widow of Stephen Luther Willard. Mary attended State University of NY-Albany and The Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City.

Mary’s love of her family made it an easy choice to be a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, Michael Stephen Willard of Spartanburg, SC and Timothy Alan Willard of Kensington, MD.

She was also predeceased by a brothers, John Cooper Neff, Byron Drake Neff, Jr.; a sister, Audry June Neff Douglas. Private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 245 South Church Street Ext.
