Obituary for Mrs. Mary Orth Mary Orth, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018. She was born in Evansville, IN on May 8, 1933 to Joe and Mary Feulner. Mary was a member of the 1st graduating class of Mater Dei High School in 1950.

She was office manager at Suburban Propane for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading and visiting with friends. She loved life and never met a stranger.

She loved her monthly outings with her high school friends. She was married to Henry Orth for 60 years. She was his “Dolly”.

They moved from Evansville to start a business, Owensboro Auto Trim Shop. They were sweethearts until his death in 2013. Preceding her in death, besides her parents, are siblings Joe Feulner, Leo Feulner, Lillian Wilson, Dorothy Zeller, Ruth Wilson, and Albert Feulner.

She was very proud of her large family, “her people”, and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children Karen Gilmore, Steve (Sherry) Orth, Keith (Lauren) Orth, and Jeff Orth. Her grandchildren are Kristina (Matt) Westerfield, Melody (Randy) Miller, Ross Evans, Nick (Stephanie) Orth, Lyndsi (Philip) Ebelhar, Katelyn Orth, Brittany (Nathan) Payne, Allyson (Torrey) Grooms, Kristen (Nico) Bustamante, Hannah Orth, and Tyler Orth.

Her great-grandchildren Brandon Wilson, Emily Wilson, Keagan Adams, Aubrey Miller, Bryson Evans, Carter Evans, Henry Miles Orth, Cooper Ebelhar, Caroline Ebelhar, Brooks Ebelhar, Anna Payne, Eva Payne, Jonah Payne, Jessa Payne, Abigail Grooms. Bonus grandchildren Cole Westerfield, Mason Westerfield, and sister-in-law Bonnie O’Neal of California. It can finally be told that Jo-Jo, the world-famous dog that made national news because he took himself to the vet after being hit by a car, actually ran in front of her vehicle.

This was a family secret. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, with Father Suneesh Mathew officiating. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Prayers at 6:00 p.m., and Monday, April 9, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:30 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.
