Obituary for Gerald Wayne Shackelford Gerald Wayne Shackelford, 83, of Owensville, Indiana passed away June 21, 2018. He was born October 31, 1934 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Denver Francis Shackelford and Dorothy Ellen (Wallace) Nettleton. He worked as a carpenter for 60 years and a member of the Local 90 Carpenters Union.

Gerald served 10 years in the Navy and was a member of the VFW in Mt. Carmel, IL. Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Michael Wayne and step daughter Tammy Dudley.

Gerald is survived by his wife Joanna; sister Sylvia Pifer; children Mark Allen Shackelford and Marin Lee Shackelford; step children Jackie Deisher, Michael Deisher, Darrell Deisher, and Steven Deisher; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
