Obituary for Patricia Nadine Himes Patricia Nadine Fielden Himes passed away on Saturday, July 14th 2018 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born on October 29, 1945 to the late Norral D Fielden and Ella Lee Boyd Fielden in Centertown, Kentucky. Mrs. Himes was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Wayne Himes, and brothers Arnold Lee Fielden and Charles Glendale Fielden.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Roger Himes of Hartford, daughter and son-in-law Stacia Renai Himes Cole and Jason Todd Cole of Harford. Her pride and joys, grandchildren Brittini Nikole Himes (Tyler Farris); Jakob Christopher Himes and Grayson Todd Cole, Amelia Grace Cole and Emilegh Morgan Cole. Also surviving are her Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.

As well as her precious Pomeranian of 10 years, Muffin. Mrs. Himes has been employed throughout the community in several positions. She worked for the Ohio County Hospital for 19 years as a Nursing Assistant, Accounting Clerk and Business Office Supervisor; she also worked for Professional Care Home (now Signature Heathcare), for two years as the Business Office Manager and as a 911 dispatcher through the Ohio County Fiscal Court for 21 years.

In addition to working in the community, she was active in her children’s extracurricular activities. Mainly enjoying her children in the Ohio County Marching Band. She never missed a band competition and enjoyed her time as Band Boosters President.

She was a loving wife, mother, “Nana” (grandmother), who had a unique, boisterous laugh. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to: Ohio County Band Boosters c/o Lincoln Rowe 731 Oakwood Drive Hartford, KY 42347.

Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2018 at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 19, 2018, and 10:00 am until the time of the service, Friday at the funeral home. Miller Schapmire Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Himes.
