Obituary for Rose Hayden Rose Hayden, 82, passed away July 3, 2018, at her home. She was born on May 5, 1936 in Owensboro to the late John L. Dant and Mary Etta Fulkerson Dant. Rose retired from the Mount, was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, and enjoyed listening to country music and spending time with family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Wilton Hayden, her son William Harold Hayden, a great-grandchild Ryder Hayden; 3 brothers Sylvester Dant, Douglas Dant, and Roy Dant; and 4 sisters Lucille Hayden, Christine Clouse, Gertrude Edwards, and Dorothy McIntire. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children: her son Steve Hayden, 2 daughters Connie Hayden O’Nan, and Debbie (Tony) Rafferty, all of Owensboro, 5 grandchildren: Lisa Elliott, Troy Rafferty, Mark Stallings, Jr., Adam Hayden, and Cory Hayden; great-grandchildren: Nikk Elliott, Collin Payne, Austin Rafferty, Hanna Rafferty, Braylon Hayden, Addison Hayden, Adalynn Hayden, Molliann Stallings, Kamdyn Hayden, and Chloe Hayden; 1 sister Alice Sutton, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 7, 2018, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, with Father Ray Goetz officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2018, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and from 8:30 am to 10:00 am Saturday at the church. Prayers will be said at 7:00 pm on Friday. Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Hayden.
