Obituary for Rachel Ann Keelin Rachel Ann Keelin, 81, of Owensboro, passed away July 2, 2018, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on September 5, 1936 to the late Albert Kamuf and Cornelia Weikel Kamuf. Rachel retired from Our Lady of Mercy Hospital after 22 years, and also retired from Macy’s on June 1, 2018 after 28 years of service.

She enjoyed collecting MAM earrings, traveling, spending time with family and friends, playing cards and bingo, and sitting on her front porch. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Keelin. She is survived by her children: Neal (Ann) Keelin, Charles (Rashel Anderson) Keelin, Mary Ann (Gene) Brown, and John Keelin; one sibling, Charles Kamuf and his wife Linda Kamuf; and three grandchildren Derek and Mara Brown, and Ashlyn Keelin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky; 3419 Wathens Crossing; Owensboro, KY 42301-7009. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Services will be 10:00 am Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Stephen Cathedral, with burial to follow at Mater Dolorosa, with Father Ed Bradley officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 5, 2018, and from 8:30 am to 9:30 am Friday at Haley Funeral Home & Crematory. Prayers will be said at 6:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Keelin.
